NETSOL Partners with BNU to Launch SFIA-Certified AI, Data Science, and Cybersecurity Training Program

In a strategic move to strengthen Pakistan’s technology education landscape, NETSOL Technologies has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Beaconhouse National University (BNU) to provide professional training in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Data Science, and Cybersecurity through the NETSOL Institute of Artificial Intelligence (NIAI).

The agreement, formalized on May 22, 2025, marks a significant milestone in the effort to align Pakistan’s tech talent development with global standards. Under the terms of the MoU, BNU will serve as an official training campus of NIAI, acting as a vital hub for the delivery of world-class, SFIA-certified (Skills Framework for the Information Age) training programs.

This partnership is driven by a shared commitment to empower Pakistan’s next generation of tech professionals with the advanced skills required to compete and succeed in an increasingly digital global economy. Through this initiative, NETSOL aims to bridge the critical gap between academia and industry, delivering practical and in-demand competencies in areas that are shaping the future of technology.

The NETSOL Institute of Artificial Intelligence, already known for offering industry-driven tech courses, will now leverage BNU’s academic environment and infrastructure to reach a broader audience of students and early-career professionals. The collaboration is expected to offer a curriculum that is not only deeply aligned with industry needs but also structured to foster hands-on learning, innovation, and problem-solving.

Training under this initiative will encompass three major technology domains—AI/ML, Data Science, and Cybersecurity—all of which are key pillars in modern digital transformation strategies. Students enrolling in these programs will gain real-world exposure through case-based learning, applied research modules, and simulated environments, all designed to build confidence and competence in high-growth sectors.

Importantly, the training programs will be certified under the globally recognized SFIA framework, ensuring that learners’ skills are mapped to international benchmarks. This opens up significant opportunities not just within Pakistan but also for students aiming for careers in international tech markets.

With the application deadline set for May 24, 2025, NETSOL and BNU are encouraging aspiring learners and tech professionals to apply promptly and take advantage of this opportunity to be part of a transformative learning experience.

By turning academic institutions into tech training hubs, initiatives like this one are helping to grow Pakistan’s technology ecosystem, foster innovation, and position the country as a future-ready participant in the digital economy. It also signals a growing trend of private-sector and academic collaboration aimed at future-proofing the workforce against rapidly evolving technological demands.
