ImmuniWeb, in partnership with YOTTABYTE, recently organized a cybersecurity roundtable in Pakistan, bringing together participants from government organizations and the broader cybersecurity community to discuss pressing digital security concerns. The event focused on several important cybersecurity areas, including application security, attack surface management, continuous threat exposure management (CTEM), and the growing risks associated with artificial intelligence driven cyber threats. The roundtable served as a platform for knowledge sharing, professional dialogue, and engagement among cybersecurity stakeholders working to address evolving digital risks.
The session highlighted discussions around application security and the importance of identifying and managing security risks across digital systems. Participants exchanged perspectives on attack surface management, a growing area of focus for organizations aiming to understand and secure internet facing assets against cyber risks. As organizations continue to expand their digital presence, discussions at the event explored how stronger visibility into digital infrastructure can support better risk management and strengthen cybersecurity readiness. Attention was also given to CTEM strategies, reflecting the increasing interest in proactive methods for identifying exposures and improving organizational cyber resilience through continuous assessment and monitoring.
Another key area of discussion during the roundtable centered on emerging cyber threats linked to artificial intelligence technologies. Participants explored how the increasing use of AI is influencing cybersecurity practices while also creating new risks that organizations need to understand and address. The event created an opportunity for attendees to exchange practical insights and experiences regarding the challenges posed by evolving threat environments. Discussions remained focused on improving awareness, strengthening preparedness, and encouraging collaboration among cybersecurity professionals working in different sectors.
ImmuniWeb acknowledged YOTTABYTE for its role in organizing the event and contributing local expertise that helped bring together an engaged audience from government organizations and Pakistan’s cybersecurity community. Special appreciation was also extended to Imran Batoaq and Haris Shamsi for their coordination, support, and contributions to the successful execution of the roundtable. Attendees were recognized for their active participation, practical discussions, and valuable insights shared throughout the event, reflecting continued efforts to promote dialogue and cooperation within Pakistan’s cybersecurity ecosystem.
