National CERT Launches Phish Radar Platform To Strengthen Pakistan Cyber Resilience Against Phishing Threats

The National Cyber Emergency Response Team has officially launched Phish Radar, a national level platform designed to enhance Pakistan’s defense against phishing threats by enabling phishing identification, verification, reporting, monitoring, and awareness across digital users and organizations. The initiative has been introduced by National CERT Pakistan as part of its broader mission to strengthen national cyber resilience and improve cyber awareness across public and private sector stakeholders. Phish Radar is designed to allow users to verify suspicious URLs before interacting with them, report phishing websites and malicious links, and contribute to improving visibility into emerging phishing campaigns targeting individuals and organizations in Pakistan. The platform also plays a role in increasing public understanding of phishing risks, supporting national cyber threat intelligence through real time reporting, and strengthening the overall cybersecurity ecosystem by enabling faster identification of malicious digital activity.

A key aspect of the platform is its focus on collaborative cybersecurity, where user participation directly contributes to strengthening national defense mechanisms against evolving phishing tactics. Phish Radar is positioned as a tool that empowers individuals, businesses, educational institutions, and government organizations to take an active role in identifying and reporting suspicious digital activity. By aggregating user reports and verification inputs, the platform enhances threat visibility and supports structured analysis of phishing patterns, which can be used to improve preventive measures and response strategies. The initiative reflects a growing emphasis on shared responsibility in cybersecurity, where awareness and participation are considered essential components of national digital safety.

The platform has been conceived and owned by National CERT as part of its Cyber Innovation Ecosystem initiative and has been designed, developed, deployed, and operated by LogIQ Curve Pvt. Ltd.. It also integrates advanced threat intelligence capabilities and phishing detection methodologies supported by PhishReaper Inc., which operates using a zero cloud architecture model. This collaboration highlights the role of indigenous cybersecurity companies and public sector institutions working together to deliver practical and scalable cybersecurity solutions tailored to national requirements. The partnership demonstrates how technical expertise and institutional support can be combined to build systems that address real world cyber threats while supporting long term digital resilience objectives.

National CERT has encouraged widespread adoption of Phish Radar across all sectors, urging individuals, enterprises, academic institutions, and government bodies to utilize the platform whenever encountering suspicious websites or phishing links. The organization emphasized that every report submitted through the platform strengthens collective cyber resilience, enriches national threat intelligence databases, and contributes to building a safer digital environment.
