Learning Resource Centre To Hold Cyberwar In Light Of Geopolitical Conflict Workshop In Karachi

Learning Resource Centre has announced a one day hands on technical workshop titled Cyberwar in Light Of Geopolitical Conflict, scheduled for August 8, 2026, at Movenpick Hotel, Karachi. The program is designed to provide cybersecurity professionals with practical knowledge and technical experience to better understand the evolving cyber threat landscape shaped by global geopolitical tensions. The workshop will be led by Syed Ubaid Ali Jafri, Head of Cyber Defense and Offensive Security and Cybersecurity at HBL.

The workshop will focus on modern cyber warfare tactics, external attack surface management, and internet facing asset discovery techniques while providing participants with practical exposure to industry leading intelligence platforms and exposure assessment tools. The training has been designed to help attendees strengthen their understanding of threat intelligence, nation state actors, cybercriminal activities, and MITRE ATT&CK mapping. Participants will also gain insights into identifying security gaps, analyzing vulnerabilities, and assessing organizational cyber maturity through practical learning sessions.
