National Centre for Cyber Security (NCCS) and National Cyber Security Academy at Air University have held a meeting with PKCERT Pakistan to discuss collaborative efforts aimed at strengthening Pakistan cybersecurity ecosystem. The meeting brought together representatives from NCCS and the National Cyber Security Academy led by Air Marshal (R) Abdul Moeed Khan, Vice Chancellor of Air University, along with Dr. Haider Abbas, Director General of PKCERT Pakistan. The discussion centered on expanding cooperation between academia and the national cybersecurity authority to support future cybersecurity initiatives across the country.
During the meeting, participants exchanged views on the future direction of cybersecurity in Pakistan and explored opportunities to enhance cooperation across multiple areas. The discussion focused on strengthening the national cybersecurity ecosystem through greater collaboration, capacity building, cyber resilience, innovation, and strategic initiatives that can contribute to improving Pakistan cyber capabilities. Representatives emphasized the importance of developing a coordinated approach that brings together academic institutions, government organizations, and industry stakeholders to address evolving cybersecurity challenges.
