The National Cyber Emergency Response Team (National CERT), under the Government of Pakistan, recently conducted a specialized training session on cybersecurity and data governance for senior civil servants at the National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA) in Lahore. Led by Dr. Haider Abbas, TI, Director General of National CERT, and Dr. Ayesha Altaf from the University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore, the training covered crucial aspects of cyber threat management, data governance frameworks, and strategies for secure digital transformation. With cyber threats evolving at an unprecedented pace, the session provided government officials with the necessary knowledge to navigate the increasingly complex cybersecurity landscape.
