Dell Technologies And CPX Join UAE Cyber Security Council For National Vault Initiative

Dell Technologies, UAE Cyber Security Council (CSC) and CPX have announced a strategic collaboration to advance the development of a National Vault initiative aimed at safeguarding mission critical data and strengthening the UAE’s cyber resilience. Announced during Ai Everything 2026, the initiative highlights the role of public and private sector cooperation in addressing evolving cybersecurity requirements and improving the ability of organisations to protect and recover important digital assets in an increasingly connected economy. The National Vault initiative is designed to provide an additional layer of protection for critical operational data across key sectors, including government services, energy, healthcare, transportation and other essential industries. By combining cybersecurity expertise, specialised data protection capabilities and recovery solutions, the collaboration aims to support organisations responsible for vital services in strengthening operational continuity and recovery readiness during periods of disruption. Dell Technologies, UAE Cyber Security Council and CPX will contribute their respective capabilities in areas such as cyber resilience, data protection, recovery frameworks and alignment with national cybersecurity priorities as the initiative continues to take shape.

The partners will explore the development of the infrastructure, operating model and governance framework required to support the National Vault capability. The initiative is expected to evolve alongside the UAE’s changing digital landscape and cybersecurity needs, with a focus on enhancing resilience, recoverability and protection for mission critical information. The collaboration supports UAE’s broader ambition of creating a secure digital environment that enables economic growth, innovation and trusted technology adoption. The National Cybersecurity Strategy of UAE focuses on resilience, innovation, capability development and collaboration, and the National Vault initiative is intended to add another recovery-focused element to this wider cybersecurity approach by helping organisations prepare for and respond to potential disruptions.

H.E. Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, Head of Cyber Security for the UAE Government, said the UAE has developed a strong national cybersecurity ecosystem focused on anticipating risks, protecting critical infrastructure and building resilience. He noted that the National Vault initiative will strengthen this approach by addressing an important part of the resilience framework and supporting efforts to protect mission critical data while maintaining continuity of essential services in a connected economy. Hadi Anwar, CEO of CPX, said that when critical systems face disruption, the ability to recover trusted data and resume operations quickly becomes essential. He added that the National Vault is intended to provide this capability at a national level by helping protect data supporting essential services and improving organisational readiness.

Walid Yehia, Managing Director South Gulf at Dell Technologies, said data remains fundamental to the UAE’s digital economy, but its value depends on being secure and recoverable during challenging situations. He explained that the National Vault initiative aims to provide organisations responsible for key public services and national operations with additional assurance around critical information, supporting their ability to recover and continue operations when facing cyber disruptions. Through collaboration between Dell Technologies, CPX and UAE Cyber Security Council, the initiative reflects a continued focus on strengthening national cyber resilience and supporting a secure digital future.
