In an effort to bolster the cyber capabilities of government stakeholders, National CERT, in collaboration with Ignite – National Technology Fund and the Ministry of IT and Telecom Pakistan, is set to host a specialized event titled “Cybersecurity Training and Cyber Drill for Government Officials” on October 31 and November 2, 2024, at COMSATS, Islamabad.
This two-day intensive training will delve into critical areas of cybersecurity, providing hands-on experience through real-world scenarios. Participants will engage in sessions designed to enhance their skills in managing cybersecurity challenges and responding to potential attacks. The training will run from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on both days.
Cyber Drill
The event will culminate in a Cyber Drill on November 2, where attendees will participate in a high-stakes simulated cyber-attack scenario, testing their crisis management and response capabilities. This exercise aims to prepare officials for emerging cyber threats, equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to safeguard their organizations.
In addition to the hands-on training and simulation, the program will feature comprehensive knowledge sharing, offering invaluable insights into the latest trends, threat landscapes, and strategies for mitigating cyber risks.
