National Cyber Emergency Response Team (National CERT) of Pakistan has formalized a partnership with LeapDigitals Ltd under the Cyber Innovation Ecosystem (CIE) initiative, welcoming the organization as a Technology Innovation Partner. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between both organizations aims to strengthen cybersecurity capabilities, encourage technical collaboration and support the development of secure digital infrastructure in Pakistan. The MoU was signed by Muhammad Ahmad Rathore Ph.D., Technical Program Director at National CERT, and Aftab Javed, Director at LeapDigitals. The signing ceremony was attended by Asif Raza Kazmi, Director TDC at National CERT, along with officials representing both organizations. The partnership reflects continued efforts to bring technology companies and cybersecurity stakeholders together to support secure digital services and strengthen the country’s cybersecurity ecosystem.
Under this collaboration, National CERT and LeapDigitals will work together on technical cooperation, knowledge exchange and capacity-building initiatives focused on secure web infrastructure and digital protection measures. The partnership will cover areas including secure hosting practices, malware-free WordPress hosting, Virtual Private Servers (VPS), dedicated server environments and other technologies that contribute to reliable and resilient online services. Through the collaboration, both organizations will promote awareness around web and server security while supporting the adoption of appropriate cybersecurity practices among organizations operating digital platforms. The initiative aims to help businesses and technology users better understand the importance of maintaining secure hosting environments and implementing measures that improve protection for digital assets.
