National Center for Cyber Security (NCCS), in collaboration with National Cyber Security Academy (NCSA), has announced the opening of registrations for its upcoming Web Penetration Testing training program. The course is designed for participants with intermediate level knowledge and above who are interested in strengthening their practical cybersecurity skills through structured technical training. Scheduled to take place from 07 to 11 September 2026, the program will be delivered over five days with a total duration of 40 hours. To make the training more accessible, participants will have the option to attend either onsite or online, allowing professionals and students from different locations to take part in the program.
The training focuses on Web Penetration Testing, an important area of cybersecurity that helps security professionals identify, assess, and address weaknesses in web applications before they can be exploited. Practical knowledge in penetration testing has become increasingly valuable as organizations continue to strengthen the security of their digital services and online platforms. By providing participants with hands on technical learning, the program aims to enhance understanding of web application security concepts, testing methodologies, and common vulnerabilities that may affect enterprise environments. The initiative also supports the continued development of cybersecurity skills needed to address modern security challenges across both the public and private sectors.
According to the announcement, the training is intended for individuals with an intermediate level of cybersecurity knowledge or higher, ensuring that participants have the technical foundation required to benefit from the course content. The combination of onsite and online delivery provides greater flexibility while enabling learners to engage with instructors and technical exercises through their preferred mode of participation. Training initiatives such as this contribute to expanding cybersecurity expertise by providing structured learning opportunities that help participants strengthen practical skills in web security assessment and defensive security practices.
Registrations for the program are currently open, with applications being accepted until 03 September 2026. The training will begin on 07 September and continue through 11 September 2026, providing participants with 40 hours of instruction over the five day schedule. Individuals interested in attending can register through the official registration portal at https://nccs.pk/register. The initiative reflects the continued efforts of NCCS and NCSA to support cybersecurity capacity building by offering specialized technical training that enables professionals and aspiring security practitioners to strengthen their expertise in Web Penetration Testing and contribute to the growing cybersecurity ecosystem.
