Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi Reviews Public Cybercrime Complaints Through NCCIA E Kachehri

Director General NCCIA Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi held an E Kachehri session to directly address public complaints related to online fraud, social media harassment, blackmailing, and other cybercrime concerns. During the online interaction, the NCCIA chief listened to citizens’ concerns and issued immediate directions to relevant officers for addressing complaints requiring further action. The initiative was aimed at improving public access to the agency’s leadership and providing citizens with a direct platform to report their issues related to digital crimes and online challenges.

According to NCCIA officials, the E Kachehri was organized on the directions of Federal Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi to strengthen communication between citizens and the agency. A large number of people participated in the online session and shared complaints involving different types of cyber-related issues. These included concerns related to online fraud, social media harassment, and blackmailing cases. During the session, several public complaints were addressed and resolved, while matters requiring additional review were forwarded to concerned officers with instructions for timely follow-up. The engagement provided citizens with an opportunity to communicate their concerns directly to NCCIA leadership and highlighted the agency’s focus on improving the complaint resolution process.

Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi emphasized that timely redressal of public complaints remains a priority for NCCIA. He said that such initiatives help reduce the communication gap between citizens and the agency by creating easier channels for people to raise their concerns. The E Kachehri format allows individuals to seek guidance and share cybercrime related issues without requiring an immediate physical visit to offices. Through these digital engagement efforts, NCCIA aims to improve accessibility for citizens and encourage more people to report incidents involving online threats, fraudulent activities, and misuse of digital platforms. The session also reflected the growing importance of responsive mechanisms as internet usage continues to increase and more services move to online platforms.

NCCIA has continued to encourage citizens to report cybercrime incidents through official channels so that complaints can be reviewed and addressed through appropriate procedures. During the E Kachehri, Rizvi urged affected individuals to contact the NCCIA helpline 1799 or visit their nearest NCCIA circle for assistance regarding cybercrime matters. The agency has been conducting public outreach activities and awareness initiatives to promote safer digital practices while strengthening its complaint handling mechanisms. By maintaining direct communication with citizens and improving response processes, NCCIA aims to support a more secure digital environment and provide assistance to individuals facing challenges related to online activities.
