Registrations Open For Cybersecure Pakistan Nationwide Hands On Cybersecurity Bootcamp

Registrations have officially opened for Cybersecure Pakistan, a nationwide hands on cybersecurity bootcamp aimed at strengthening practical cyber defense skills across Pakistan’s technology ecosystem. The program plans to train 1,000 participants across six cities, offering an intensive learning experience focused on real world cybersecurity techniques and operational readiness. Designed as an in person and skills first initiative, the bootcamp reflects growing efforts to build local capacity as cyber risks continue to affect public and private sector organizations. With limited seats and city wise allocations, the program is expected to attract strong interest from aspiring cybersecurity professionals and practitioners seeking applied learning opportunities.

The initiative is being delivered with the support of APNIC Foundation, whose backing has enabled the program to scale nationwide while maintaining a practical training model. APNIC Foundation’s contribution focuses on strengthening regional cybersecurity capacity by supporting initiatives that prioritize hands on skills and applied knowledge. Organizers highlighted that this support allows participants to gain exposure to realistic scenarios and tools commonly used in professional environments rather than purely theoretical instruction. In addition to international support, the program is being guided by PKCERT Pakistan to ensure alignment with national cybersecurity capacity building priorities and evolving threat landscapes. This collaboration aims to keep the curriculum relevant to real world challenges faced by organizations operating within Pakistan’s digital environment.

Cybersecure Pakistan is structured to ensure accessibility and merit based participation. Selected candidates will receive fully sponsored seats with no participation fee, reducing financial barriers for individuals with the aptitude and motivation to develop cybersecurity skills. Seats are limited and reserved on a city wise basis to promote regional representation. While applications are processed on a first come basis, final selection remains subject to evaluation and eligibility criteria to ensure participants are suited for the intensity and objectives of the bootcamp. Organizers noted that this approach balances inclusivity with quality, helping maintain an effective learning environment for all attendees.

The bootcamp is positioned as a high intensity program focused on sharpening practical cybersecurity skills through direct engagement and guided exercises. Participants are expected to work through scenarios that reflect current cyber threats and operational realities, helping them build confidence and competence in defensive practices. Those interested in applying are encouraged to submit their registration promptly due to limited capacity and anticipated demand. Applications can be submitted through the official registration link. By bringing together national and international support alongside local expertise, Cybersecure Pakistan represents a coordinated effort to strengthen the country’s cybersecurity talent pipeline and enhance readiness across Pakistan’s expanding digital ecosystem.
