Registrations for Cybersecure Pakistan are set to close on 15th March, marking the final opportunity for applicants to secure a place in a national level cybersecurity training initiative that aims to build professional capacity across multiple sectors. Beginning 1st April, the program will embark on a year long journey to train 1,000 cybersecurity professionals drawn from the public sector, private industry, and academia. The initiative is designed to strengthen Pakistan’s defensive capabilities in cyberspace while enhancing its standing within the international cyber ecosystem through structured, skills based development.
Cybersecure Pakistan focuses on preparing defenders to address complex and evolving global cybersecurity challenges. As digital transformation accelerates across government institutions, enterprises, and universities, the demand for skilled security professionals continues to rise. The program seeks to close this gap by equipping participants with advanced technical competencies and operational readiness. By bringing together professionals from diverse domains, the initiative also promotes cross sector collaboration and shared learning, enabling participants to understand risk management from multiple institutional perspectives. This broad based participation model is intended to create a stronger and more coordinated cybersecurity community within the country.
A defining feature of the initiative is that all seats are fully sponsored by APNIC Foundation, removing financial barriers that often limit access to high quality technical training.
