The certification demonstrates the bank’s compliance with the latest Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard requirements, reflecting its continued efforts to strengthen cybersecurity practices across its payment infrastructure. The PCI DSS Certificate of Compliance was formally presented during a ceremony attended by senior representatives from Meezan Bank and Risk Associates Pakistan. The recognition highlights the importance of implementing internationally recognized security controls to safeguard payment systems and sensitive customer information within the financial sector.
The Certificate of Compliance was presented by Dr. Aftab Rizvi, Chairman of Risk Associates Group, along with Mr. Navaid Naqvi, CISA, CISM, CDPSE, ISMS Senior Lead Auditor and CISM Instructor, who also serves as Chief Executive Officer and Country Head of Risk Associates Pakistan. The presentation took place in the presence of Mr. Syed Fahd Azam, Chief Information Security Officer at Meezan Bank. The ceremony was also attended by Mr. Kashif Ali, Head of Business Development at Risk Associates, and Mr. Syed Tariq Hassan, CFA, Chief Risk Officer at Meezan Bank, together with other senior representatives from both organizations. Their participation reflected the collaborative efforts involved in achieving compliance with the latest PCI DSS requirements and maintaining strong security governance within the banking environment.
