Pakistan Cyber Security Challenge (PCC) 2026 is set to return to Air University, Islamabad, from November 24 to 27, bringing together students, cybersecurity professionals, researchers, innovators, and industry representatives for four days of technical competitions and knowledge sharing. Organized by National Centre for Cyber Security (NCCS), the event aims to strengthen Pakistan’s cybersecurity ecosystem by providing participants with opportunities to test their technical abilities, develop innovative security solutions, and collaborate with experts from academia and industry. Registration for the event is currently open and will remain available until September 30, 2026, inviting individuals with interests in cyber defense, cryptography, and cybersecurity innovation to participate.
This year’s edition will feature three major competition tracks designed to engage participants with different cybersecurity interests and skill sets. The National Cyber Defense Championship will provide a Capture The Flag (CTF) competition where participants can demonstrate their practical cybersecurity capabilities by solving technical challenges under competitive conditions. Alongside the CTF competition, the Cyber Innovation and Startup Challenge will encourage participants to transform cybersecurity concepts into practical solutions capable of addressing real-world security challenges. The third competition, Pak Crypt Challenge 2026, will focus on cryptography, giving participants the opportunity to solve advanced cryptographic problems while competing with some of the country’s leading technical talent. Through these activities, PCC 2026 seeks to provide an environment where technical knowledge, innovation, and problem-solving skills can be developed across multiple cybersecurity disciplines.
Beyond the competitions, PCC 2026 is intended to serve as a platform for collaboration between academia, industry, and the broader cybersecurity community. By bringing together researchers, innovators, students, and professionals, the event aims to encourage discussions around emerging cyber threats, technical research, secure software development, and defensive security practices. The combination of practical competitions and innovation-focused activities reflects the growing emphasis on developing cybersecurity capabilities that support both technical excellence and entrepreneurial thinking.
