Pakistani Cybersecurity Expert Recognized by NASA for Security Vulnerability Discovery

Pakistani cybersecurity expert and ethical hacker Shehzad Ahmad has achieved a remarkable feat by being recognized by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) for discovering a security vulnerability in their systems.

NASA expressed its gratitude to Ahmad in a letter, commending his efforts in responsibly reporting the security flaw while adhering to their VPD policy and guidelines. The letter highlighted the value of his contribution in helping NASA identify and address potential vulnerabilities.

Shehzad Ahmad is a Google-certified cybersecurity professional currently working as a cybersecurity engineer at IPS Pakistan. Prior to this, he served as a project manager for cybersecurity at Great Future Pakistan and was a bug hunter for HackerOne.

Ahmad’s educational background in software engineering from Abasyn University has equipped him with the necessary skills to excel in the field of cybersecurity. His dedication to his work has been recognized previously, as he has received an appreciation letter from the government of KPK for finding security vulnerabilities in their systems and an appreciation certificate for his efforts in combating the spread of COVID-19.
