The agency stated that educational requirements vary depending on the role, with qualifications accepted from Matriculation and Intermediate to Bachelor or BS level education. Relevant academic backgrounds include Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Digital Forensics, Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, and other related disciplines. The recruitment aims to strengthen the agency workforce by bringing in professionals with both technical expertise and operational capabilities to support cybercrime investigations and digital security operations across Pakistan.
The eligibility criteria specify that applicants must be between 18 and 25 years of age, while general upper age relaxation of five years will be available in accordance with applicable federal government rules. For uniformed positions including Sub Inspector, Assistant Sub Inspector, Constable, and Constable Driver, candidates will also be required to meet prescribed physical measurement standards and successfully complete a one mile endurance test as part of the recruitment process.
