NCCIA Begins Nationwide Recruitment Physical Tests In 11 Pakistani Cities

The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has commenced physical tests for recruitment in 11 cities across Pakistan as part of its ongoing nationwide hiring process. The recruitment drive is being conducted in Gujranwala, Karachi, Sukkur, Hyderabad, Lahore, Sahiwal, Peshawar, Quetta, Gilgit, Faisalabad and Multan, offering eligible young candidates an opportunity to join the agency and contribute to its efforts against cybercrime. According to an NCCIA spokesperson, the physical tests began under a merit-based procedure intended to provide equal opportunities to candidates meeting the prescribed eligibility requirements. The nationwide exercise forms part of the agency’s efforts to complete its recruitment process across multiple locations, allowing candidates in different parts of the country to participate. The spokesperson said the tests were being conducted according to a transparent procedure, with selection based strictly on merit. The initiative is aimed at bringing new personnel into the agency as it continues its work in the field of cybercrime investigation. By conducting physical tests in 11 cities, NCCIA is carrying out the recruitment process across a broad geographical area rather than limiting the exercise to a single location. The agency has emphasized that eligible candidates will be assessed through the prescribed recruitment procedures and that transparency will remain a central consideration throughout the process.

The physical tests are being held in Gujranwala, Karachi, Sukkur, Hyderabad, Lahore, Sahiwal, Peshawar, Quetta, Gilgit, Faisalabad and Multan. The inclusion of these cities provides candidates from different regions with designated locations to take part in the ongoing recruitment exercise. The spokesperson said the process was being carried out under clear procedures to ensure that eligible applicants receive fair consideration. Merit-based recruitment is intended to ensure that candidates are selected according to the applicable requirements rather than through personal influence or other considerations outside the prescribed process. NCCIA has stated that the physical tests form part of the wider selection process and are being conducted in line with the relevant recruitment procedures. The agency’s approach places emphasis on maintaining consistency and fairness across all participating cities. Candidates taking part in the exercise are therefore being assessed within the framework established for the recruitment process. The spokesperson reiterated that the objective is to provide equal opportunities to eligible individuals seeking to become part of the organization. The nationwide arrangement also reflects the scale of the current recruitment activity, with tests taking place simultaneously across several major urban centres and regional locations.

The NCCIA spokesperson said the recruitment process was being conducted on the directions of Director General NCCIA Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, who had instructed the officials concerned to maintain transparency at every stage. Rizvi directed that all stages of recruitment be completed in accordance with the prescribed procedures to ensure fair selection of candidates. He also emphasized that there would be no compromise on merit and transparency during the exercise. The instructions place responsibility on the officials overseeing recruitment to follow the established process and ensure that selection decisions are made according to the applicable criteria. The Director General’s directions also underline the importance of consistent procedures across all 11 cities where physical tests are being conducted. According to the spokesperson, the agency is committed to ensuring that the recruitment exercise remains transparent and that eligible candidates are provided with a fair opportunity to participate. The emphasis on merit is intended to ensure that the selection process is based on candidates meeting the relevant requirements, while adherence to prescribed procedures is expected to guide the different stages of recruitment.

The recruitment initiative is also intended to provide young people with an opportunity to join NCCIA and contribute to its work against cybercrime. As the agency continues its responsibilities in the field of cybercrime investigation, the hiring process represents an opportunity to bring eligible candidates into the organization through a structured selection exercise. The spokesperson said the initiative would allow young people to become part of the agency and support its efforts to address cybercrime-related challenges. However, the agency has maintained that participation in the recruitment process will be governed by the prescribed requirements and merit-based selection procedures. With physical tests underway in 11 cities, NCCIA is continuing the nationwide recruitment exercise under the directions of its Director General. The agency has reiterated that fairness, transparency and adherence to official procedures will remain key principles throughout the process. The ongoing tests mark an important stage in the recruitment drive, with the selection process expected to proceed in accordance with the established requirements and instructions issued to the officials concerned.
