Dubbed ‘Cyber Friday,’ the workshop convened at the YMCA Hall on a Friday, drawing a significant turnout from various educational institutions. Attendees, including prominent figures from diverse fields, immersed themselves in a day-long session focused on evading social media exploitation and mastering tools for cyber security.
Led by experts, the workshop provided practical demonstrations on fortifying defenses against cyber threats. Director of Lahore YMCA, Haroon Rehmat, graced the event as the chief guest, joined by Emanuel Sarfraz, the General Secretary of YMCA. As the workshop concluded, certificates were awarded to participants, symbolizing their newfound knowledge and empowerment.
Expressing commitment to community welfare, Rehmat affirmed YMCA’s dedication to organizing programs like these on a regular basis. With hopes of equipping individuals to navigate challenging digital landscapes, YMCA aims to continue fostering cyber security awareness among communities.
