National Cyber Emergency Response Team of Pakistan has formalized a strategic partnership with GlowBug Technologies under Cyber Innovation Ecosystem initiative, welcoming the company as a Technology Innovation Partner. The Memorandum of Understanding was signed at the headquarters of National Cyber Emergency Response Team in Islamabad, marking a coordinated effort to strengthen Pakistan national cyber resilience framework through structured collaboration between public and private sector stakeholders.
The MoU was signed by Mr Khurram Javed, Director Capacity Building at National CERT, and Mr Zeeshan Bokhari, Chief Executive Officer of GlowBug Technologies, in the presence of officials and representatives from both sides. The agreement reflects a shared objective to advance cybersecurity capabilities by combining institutional oversight with industry led innovation. Officials described the partnership as part of a broader strategy to enhance technical expertise, improve readiness against emerging threats, and align innovation initiatives with national digital security priorities.
As a Technology Innovation Partner under Cyber Innovation Ecosystem, GlowBug Technologies will work closely with National CERT in several key areas, including cybersecurity capacity enhancement with a particular focus on academic institutions. The collaboration is expected to support the design and implementation of structured training programs, technical knowledge exchange, and joint initiatives aimed at developing innovative mechanisms to counter evolving cyber risks. By integrating academic engagement into the framework, the partnership seeks to cultivate skilled cybersecurity professionals while strengthening institutional preparedness across sectors that form part of Pakistan digital infrastructure.
