Learning Resource Centre has announced a specialized executive training workshop titled Cloud Outsourcing Regulatory Guidelines Secure Cloud Technology Adoption, aimed at strengthening knowledge and practical understanding of secure cloud outsourcing among financial institutions, fintech companies, and non banking financial institutions. The training session will provide participants with an in depth understanding of State Bank of Pakistan Framework on Outsourcing to Cloud Service Providers, issued under BPRD Circular No. 01 of 2023. Alongside the regulatory framework, the workshop will examine international case studies, global supervisory approaches, evolving cloud technologies, and practical methods for implementing secure and compliant cloud outsourcing strategies. Organizers said the curriculum has been developed to help financial organizations understand governance structures, compliance obligations, outsourcing risks, and mitigation strategies while also highlighting emerging cloud service models and innovation trends. As financial institutions continue modernizing digital services and adopting cloud based technologies, regulatory awareness has become an increasingly important aspect of operational resilience, cybersecurity, and risk management. Shoukat Bizinjo, former Additional Director of Digital Financial Services Group at State Bank of Pakistan, will share perspectives on regulatory expectations and cloud outsourcing oversight within the financial sector. Ammar Shareef, CCISO, CCSP and Chief Information Officer at Keenu, will contribute insights into secure cloud technology adoption, information security, and governance from an industry leadership perspective. Muhammad Habib Siddiqui, Regional Business Head at RapidCompute, will provide expertise on cloud infrastructure, enterprise adoption strategies, and technology implementation. Together, the speakers are expected to discuss practical approaches to strengthening governance, maintaining regulatory compliance, managing outsourcing risks, and improving organizational resilience through secure cloud adoption.
