Air University Showcases Artificial Intelligence And Cybersecurity Expertise To Punjab Assembly Delegation

A delegation from the Provincial Assembly of Punjab visited Air University to explore the university’s expertise in Artificial Intelligence, digital governance and cybersecurity. During the visit, the delegation engaged with university officials and reviewed the institution’s initiatives aimed at strengthening Pakistan’s digital security capabilities through research, training and technology development.

The delegation visited the National Cyber Security Academy (NCSA) and the Cyber Security Operations Center (CSOC) at Air University, where members were briefed on the university’s cybersecurity capabilities and locally developed security solutions. Officials highlighted the role of these facilities in enhancing cybersecurity awareness, building technical expertise and supporting efforts to improve digital resilience across different sectors.  During the visit, the delegation was also given insights into Air University’s work in Artificial Intelligence and digital governance. The university demonstrated its focus on emerging technologies and their applications in addressing modern challenges. Discussions covered the importance of developing skilled professionals, promoting cybersecurity education and encouraging innovation in areas that contribute to Pakistan’s evolving technology landscape.

The delegation also witnessed a live demonstration of cybersecurity solutions developed at Air University. The demonstration showcased the deployment process and practical capabilities of these solutions, highlighting the university’s contribution to strengthening cybersecurity practices. The visit provided an opportunity for Punjab Assembly representatives to understand the role of academic institutions in supporting national digital security goals and preparing future technology professionals.
