Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has issued a cybersecurity advisory warning of multiple zero-day vulnerabilities discovered in VMware Workstation and Fusion software. These vulnerabilities, identified as CVE-2024-22267, CVE-2024-22268, and CVE-2024-22269, could potentially allow attackers to gain unauthorized access to sensitive information and execute malicious code.
The vulnerabilities affect specific versions of VMware Workstation 17.5.1 and VMware Fusion 13.5.1. PTA has urged users to upgrade to the latest versions of these software products as soon as possible to mitigate the risks.
