Supernet Secures Multi Million Dollar Cybersecurity Contract With Major Pakistani Bank

Supernet Technologies Limited has secured a multi million US dollar cybersecurity contract through its subsidiary, Supernet Secure Solutions Pvt Limited, reinforcing its presence in Pakistan’s financial services technology landscape. The development was disclosed in a notification submitted to Pakistan Stock Exchange, where the company outlined details of the agreement and its expected impact on future operations. The contract spans a period of five years and has been awarded by one of Pakistan’s largest banks, continuing an established partnership between the two organizations.

This latest agreement marks the second consecutive mandate granted to Supernet by the same financial institution. The company had previously completed a five year contract that was awarded in 2021, and the renewal reflects the bank’s continued reliance on Supernet’s cybersecurity capabilities. The ongoing collaboration highlights the increasing importance of trusted technology partners in maintaining secure banking environments, particularly as digital financial services expand across the country. The extension also signals confidence in Supernet’s ability to deliver consistent performance and meet evolving security requirements within a highly regulated sector.

Under the terms of the renewed contract, Supernet Secure Solutions will deploy an upgraded cybersecurity framework aimed at strengthening the bank’s digital infrastructure. A key component of the project involves implementing advanced endpoint security systems designed to protect more than 10,000 employees nationwide. Endpoint security remains a critical focus area for financial institutions, as employee devices often represent a primary entry point for potential security incidents. By enhancing protection at this level, the bank aims to reduce vulnerabilities and ensure safer access to internal systems and sensitive financial data.

The company stated that the contract falls within the multi million dollar range, making it a notable addition to its cybersecurity revenue pipeline over the next five years. The financial contribution from this agreement is expected to remain positive throughout its duration, supporting Supernet’s broader growth strategy and strengthening its position in enterprise security services. As demand for cybersecurity solutions continues to rise in Pakistan’s banking sector, contracts of this scale reflect a growing emphasis on safeguarding digital operations and maintaining resilience against emerging risks.
