In its ongoing efforts to bolster cybersecurity resilience, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has issued a total of 89 Cyber Security Advisories over the past year. These advisories, aimed at fostering collective understanding and vigilance, play a crucial role in navigating the evolving cyber landscape.
The latest report from PTA unveiled key insights into its advisory initiatives. From July to December 2022, 43 cyber security advisories were disseminated, with 37 marked as critical and 6 as high priority. Similarly, in the first half of 2023, PTA received 46 advisories, including 36 critical and 10 high priority ones.
Covering a diverse array of topics ranging from network security enhancement to strategies for mitigating emerging threats, PTA issued 42 internal and 47 external cyber security advisories throughout the year.
