National CERT Invites Cyber Security Audit Firms With OT Security Expertise For Registration

National Cyber Emergency Response Team (National CERT) of Pakistan has announced an open call for registration for cyber security audit firms with a focus on Operational Technology security. The initiative aims to engage qualified organizations in strengthening the resilience of Pakistan’s critical digital and industrial infrastructure. As the country continues to invest in securing vital systems, National CERT is emphasizing the importance of firms that possess specialized expertise in OT, ICS, and SCADA environments.

Firms with proven experience in industrial control systems are particularly encouraged to participate. National CERT is seeking organizations that can conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and compliance audits aligned with recognized national and international cybersecurity standards. This move is part of Pakistan’s broader strategy to enhance national cyber resilience and ensure that critical infrastructures operate securely against potential threats targeting operational technology systems.

Organizations interested in contributing to this effort are invited to register through the official National CERT portal. By doing so, firms can play an active role in supporting upcoming national initiatives aimed at securing industrial networks, energy systems, and other essential sectors that rely on operational technology frameworks. The registration process will enable National CERT to establish a vetted network of audit partners capable of providing expert assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, and recommending improvements in line with global best practices.

Participation in this initiative presents a unique opportunity for cyber security firms to collaborate directly with National CERT and support Pakistan’s digital and industrial ecosystem. As operational technology security becomes increasingly critical, the engagement of certified and experienced audit firms will contribute to safeguarding the nation’s infrastructure while ensuring compliance with both local and international standards. Firms that register can expect to be part of high-impact initiatives designed to strengthen the security posture of key industrial systems and promote a more secure digital Pakistan.
