National CERT has launched its CyberNest Cyber Security Empowerment Program to provide recent graduates with the skills and knowledge required to thrive in the fast-evolving digital economy. The program has been designed as a premier initiative to equip participants with cutting-edge training in Information and Cyber Security, preparing them for real-world challenges in an increasingly interconnected environment. CyberNest offers a combination of practical learning, guidance from experts and exposure to global best practices, enabling participants to enhance their capabilities for a career in digital security.
The program’s curriculum covers hands-on training in cyber defense and incident response, along with in-depth knowledge of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain and cloud security. Participants will gain insights into global best practices and receive mentorship from National CERT experts and experienced professionals from the industry. This mix of practical training and theoretical knowledge has been structured to help graduates develop a market-ready skillset that can support career opportunities across diverse sectors where cybersecurity expertise is increasingly in demand.
CyberNest is currently open for graduates from IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity and related fields who have completed their degrees and are looking to strengthen their careers in digital security. It is also suitable for individuals actively seeking employment in cybersecurity. By creating a platform where fresh graduates can learn directly from practitioners, the program aims to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry requirements. For now, CyberNest is available to applicants from Islamabad and Rawalpindi, with plans to expand to additional cities in the near future.
National CERT has set October 15, 2025 as the deadline to apply for the program. Interested candidates can register through the dedicated portal at pkcert.gov.pk/cybernest or by scanning the QR code available on the official promotional materials. As part of its wider capacity-building efforts, National CERT continues to roll out initiatives like CyberNest to enhance cyber awareness, preparedness and skills development across Pakistan’s workforce. This program reflects an ongoing commitment to develop local talent and strengthen national resilience in cybersecurity by creating a steady pipeline of trained professionals who can meet the country’s growing digital security needs.
