ITSolera Joins National CERT as Technology Innovation Partner to Strengthen Pakistan’s Cyber Innovation Ecosystem

ITSolera Pvt. Ltd. has entered into a strategic collaboration with National Cyber Emergency Response Team (National CERT) as its Technology Innovation Partner under the Cyber Innovation Ecosystem (CIE) initiative. The partnership was formalized at a ceremony held at National CERT headquarters in Islamabad through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Director Capacity Building at National CERT, Khurram Javed, and CEO of ITSolera, Dr Hafeez Ur Rehman. Officials from both organizations attended the event, which marks a significant step toward advancing Pakistan’s cybersecurity innovation capacity and fostering stronger public-private cooperation.

Under the framework of the Cyber Innovation Ecosystem, ITSolera will work alongside National CERT to design and implement advanced technological solutions that address emerging cyber challenges. The collaboration will focus on knowledge exchange, research and development, and skill enhancement in the cybersecurity domain. By integrating expertise from both sides, the initiative aims to bolster Pakistan’s digital resilience, ensuring that the nation’s infrastructure is equipped to counter evolving cyber threats.

During the signing ceremony, Khurram Javed emphasized the critical role of partnerships between public institutions and private entities in safeguarding national digital assets. He noted that collaborative projects such as this are essential in building an effective cybersecurity defense that can adapt to rapidly changing threat landscapes. Dr Hafeez Ur Rehman reaffirmed ITSolera’s commitment to contributing to the development of indigenous technologies and capacity-building programs that strengthen the country’s cyber defense framework.

The Cyber Innovation Ecosystem is a national platform that brings together government bodies, SECP-registered private sector organizations, academic institutions, and technology innovators to work collectively on cybersecurity challenges. It focuses on promoting innovation, facilitating knowledge sharing, and nurturing skilled human resources to counteract cyber adversaries. Through its involvement, ITSolera will play an active role in creating solutions tailored to Pakistan’s specific cybersecurity needs, helping to build a robust and self-reliant digital security infrastructure capable of meeting both current and future demands.
