In an effort to advance cybersecurity awareness and promote thought leadership in digital defense, the Department of Cybersecurity at the Faculty of Computing and Artificial Intelligence (FCAI), Air University Islamabad, recently organized an insightful online session titled “Innovation & Ideation in Cybersecurity.” The event took place on Saturday, May 17, 2025, and was hosted on Microsoft Teams, drawing participants from both academic and professional cybersecurity communities.
The keynote speaker for the session was Dr. M. Masoom Alam, Chief Technology Officer at Cytomate, and a globally recognized cybersecurity expert with over 25 years of experience. Dr. Alam is well-known for his pioneering contributions to cyber threat intelligence and has advised various governments and enterprises on digital defense strategies. His talk provided a deep dive into emerging trends and practical innovations that are reshaping the cybersecurity landscape.
In his address, Dr. Alam emphasized the importance of adaptive defense strategies in today’s threat-driven digital ecosystem.
