Arcana Info has conducted a cybersecurity awareness session at its Karachi office to strengthen employees’ understanding of digital safety, responsible technology usage and cybersecurity best practices. The session was organised in a hybrid format, allowing employees to participate both physically from the Arcana Karachi Office and virtually from different locations. The initiative was part of Arcana Info’s continued efforts to promote a culture of cybersecurity awareness, continuous learning and digital responsibility across the organisation. Conducted by Jahantab Hussain, Business Development Manager at Meraal Cyber Security, the session focused on helping employees better understand the evolving cybersecurity landscape and the importance of adopting secure practices in professional and personal digital environments.
The awareness programme was led by Inara Altaf Dossani, HR Executive at Arcana Info, and Syed Shariq Muhammad, Regional Head and VP Growth, as part of the company’s broader commitment to building a more informed and security conscious workforce. With organisations increasingly relying on digital platforms, cloud services and connected systems, cybersecurity awareness among employees has become an important component of maintaining organisational resilience. The session highlighted the role individuals play in protecting sensitive information, identifying potential risks and following appropriate security measures while interacting with digital systems. By providing employees with practical knowledge and real world examples, Arcana Info aimed to encourage proactive approaches towards cybersecurity across different levels of the organisation.
During the session, participants explored several key areas, including cyber hygiene, data protection, threat mitigation and safe digital practices. Discussions focused on common cybersecurity challenges and the steps employees can take to reduce risks associated with digital activities. The training also covered ways to safeguard organisational and personal digital assets by following secure practices, recognising potential threats and maintaining responsible online behaviour. Through interactive discussions and practical examples, employees gained insights into how cybersecurity awareness can contribute to a safer workplace environment and support stronger protection of valuable information. The hybrid format further enabled wider participation by allowing team members from multiple locations to benefit from the learning opportunity.
Following the successful completion of the training, all attendees were awarded Certificates of Participation in recognition of their engagement and completion of the cybersecurity awareness programme. Arcana Info expressed appreciation to Jahantab Hussain and Meraal Cyber Security for delivering an informative learning experience and supporting efforts to enhance cybersecurity awareness within the workforce. The initiative reflects the growing importance of cybersecurity education as organisations continue to strengthen their digital environments and prepare employees to navigate emerging online risks. By investing in awareness programmes and knowledge sharing, companies can encourage more secure digital practices, improve internal resilience and create workplaces where employees understand their role in protecting technology resources and information assets.
