Director General National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi will hold an E Kachehri on Wednesday, October 14, to directly hear citizens’ complaints related to cybercrime. The session will begin at 11:30 am and will provide an opportunity for members of the public to raise concerns regarding cyber fraud, online harassment, financial scams, and other cyber related issues. According to an NCCIA spokesperson, the initiative is designed to improve communication between citizens and the agency while providing direct access to senior management for individuals seeking guidance and support regarding digital crimes. The E Kachehri reflects NCCIA’s efforts to strengthen public engagement and improve access to assistance for people affected by cybercrime related challenges.
During the session, DG NCCIA Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi will personally listen to complaints and concerns shared by citizens facing different types of online security issues. The agency stated that the purpose of the initiative is to help individuals communicate their problems directly with senior officials and ensure that complaints receive appropriate attention. Citizens will be able to discuss matters involving online fraud, financial scams, harassment through digital platforms, and other cyber related concerns during the live interaction. Such public engagement platforms provide an additional channel for citizens to seek information about available support mechanisms and understand the process for reporting cyber incidents.
The NCCIA spokesperson said the E Kachehri is also aimed at improving public access to the agency and strengthening efforts to prevent cybercrime. As digital platforms continue to become a major part of everyday activities, incidents involving online fraud, unauthorized access, financial deception, and digital harassment have increased the need for stronger awareness and effective reporting channels. By facilitating direct communication between citizens and agency leadership, NCCIA intends to enhance transparency, encourage timely reporting, and provide guidance to individuals dealing with cyber related problems. The initiative is part of broader efforts to build stronger connections between law enforcement institutions and the public in addressing challenges emerging from the digital environment.
The upcoming session will allow citizens to raise their concerns directly with NCCIA leadership and seek guidance on different categories of cybercrime. The agency has highlighted online fraud, online harassment, financial fraud, and other cyber offences as key areas that can be discussed during the E Kachehri. Citizens can participate in the session and contact NCCIA through the provided communication channel for assistance related to cybercrime matters. Through initiatives such as public complaint sessions and awareness efforts, NCCIA continues to focus on improving citizen support, strengthening cybercrime response mechanisms, and increasing accessibility for individuals seeking help with online security issues across Pakistan.
