According to Supersecure, Abidi has successfully implemented governance and compliance frameworks including NIST, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and COBIT 5 for major institutions. These frameworks help organizations strengthen information security practices, improve governance structures, and manage operational risks through established controls and globally recognized security methodologies. His expertise also includes aligning business objectives with technology governance, enabling organizations to establish security programmes that support operational efficiency while maintaining compliance with regulatory obligations. Abidi also brings significant experience in cloud security and enterprise infrastructure. His background includes designing secure network architectures, segmented virtual networks, and automated infrastructure environments across Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services platforms. He has also managed vulnerability assessments, penetration testing activities, ethical hacking initiatives, and Level 3 incident response operations aimed at identifying and mitigating cybersecurity risks.

In addition, his technical expertise covers a wide range of security technologies and governance platforms, including OWASP, ITIL, IBM AppScan, Checkmarx, Veracode, HP Fortify, Nessus, and Burp Suite. Supersecure stated that this combination of technical knowledge and governance experience will support its efforts to enhance cybersecurity capabilities while maintaining alignment with industry standards and evolving compliance requirements. The company further highlighted Abidi’s professional certifications, which include EC Council Certified Ethical Hacker Version 9, AWS Cloud Associate, Prince2 Foundation, COBIT, and Cisco Certified Network Associate. These certifications demonstrate his experience across ethical hacking, cloud technologies, project management, governance frameworks, and enterprise networking.
