Sources revealed that the system allows seamless intelligence sharing between National CERT, Pakistan Army Cyber Division-101, and PTA. Officials highlighted that the locally governed MISP-based system strengthens Pakistan’s cyber sovereignty by minimizing reliance on external intelligence sources while improving preparedness against advanced persistent threats and state-sponsored cyber operations.
The integrated platform enhances national cyber situational awareness, allowing institutions to respond in real time to emerging threats. It facilitates the sharing of indicators of compromise, including malicious IP addresses, domains, file hashes, and attack techniques, enabling faster detection and containment of cyber incidents.
