Islamabad Chamber To Host InfoSec Summit Islamabad 2026 During Indus AI Week

Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry has announced the InfoSec Summit Islamabad 2026, a major cybersecurity and artificial intelligence focused event scheduled to take place on Tuesday, 10 February 2026, at the ICCI Auditorium in G 8 1 Islamabad. The summit will be held as part of Indus AI Week, which is being celebrated across Pakistan from 9 to 15 February 2026 under the banner of Tech Destination Pakistan by Ministry of IT and Telecom. The event aims to bring together policymakers, industry leaders, technology professionals, and cybersecurity experts to discuss the evolving intersection of artificial intelligence and national cyber defense capabilities.

The summit is being convened under the leadership of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with Sardar Tahir Mehmood serving as President and Sheikh Tariq Sadiq as Chairman Founder Group. Senior Vice President Tahir Ayub and Vice President Irfan Chaudhry, along with members of the Executive Committee of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, have jointly extended invitations to stakeholders from across the public and private sectors. The event reflects ICCI’s continued engagement in promoting dialogue around emerging technologies, digital transformation, and enterprise security within Pakistan’s business ecosystem.

InfoSec Summit Islamabad 2026 will focus on the theme of sovereign AI and cybersecurity, posing the question of whether existing defense frameworks are ready for the rise of agentic artificial intelligence. The discussions are expected to explore the transition from traditional tool based security approaches to sovereign and autonomous cyber resilience models. As organizations increasingly rely on AI driven systems, the summit will examine how cybersecurity strategies must adapt to address autonomy, scale, and decision making driven by intelligent agents. The event is positioned as a platform for informed dialogue on resilience, governance, and operational readiness in an AI enabled environment.

The summit will take place at 9 00 AM at the ICCI Auditorium and is expected to attract participation from technology companies, cybersecurity practitioners, academic institutions, and representatives from industry associations.
