Ammar Jaffri brings more than forty years of experience in cybersecurity, technology governance and public sector digital programs. His professional journey has played a central role in shaping Pakistan’s digital security environment. He is serving as director general of the Pakistan Information Technology Centre and is the founder and chief executive officer of the Pakistan Information Security Association. Along with these responsibilities, he is chairman of ISACA Islamabad, chairman of the National Cyber Security Task Force and president of several national digital programs including E Pakistan 2025 and Pakistan Digital Vision 2030. Jaffri’s public service career between 1984 and 2001 included key roles where he contributed to foundational national projects such as the National Response Centre for Cyber Crimes, the Integrated Border Management System and Pakistan’s first Digital Forensic Laboratory. He also held positions that enabled the establishment of border control systems and frameworks for cybercrime handling. Over the years, he has actively promoted secure digital infrastructure, improved cyber resilience across organizations and increased public awareness about cybersecurity.
Speaking about his appointment, Jaffri said he is pleased to join the advisory board and support Resecurity’s mission of enhancing digital safety through intelligence focused cybersecurity solutions.
